In 1984, Bishop Larry O. Jones was commissioned to begin a church in North St. Louis County. In the spirit of obedience, Bishop Jones became the founding pastor of Greater Grace Church, which began with two members. From the humble beginnings of renting time and space at Epworth Windsor United Methodist Church (now known as Northside UMC), Bishop Jones remained committed to the growth of this new ministry.
In 1990, Bishop Jones led the small congregation to build their first permanent church in Moline Acres. He later expanded that building in 1994. As the ministry grew vigorously, they were in need of further expansion.
In June 2008, Greater Grace built a new 36,000 square foot facility in Ferguson, MO. Since that time, the church has grown tremendously. It currently serves as a melting pot for the community.

Saturday Tutoring School
We are thrilled to share the news of our recently launched Saturday Tutoring School, which began on Saturday, November 16th. Mark your calendars for our upcoming December sessions on the 7th and 21st. We offer free tutoring in Reading, Writing, and Math, and even cursive handwriting, catering to students from Kindergarten through 12th grade. In addition to these subjects, students can receive assistance with their homework and class assignments.
